CarLoans4u
CarLoans4u was set up to provide consumers and small businesses across Ireland with a more flexible way to purchase either a new or used vehicles.
Challenge
We were asked to design a website that would help them promote their business and be easy for customers to use and apply for finance. As part of the web project, a loan repayments calculator would be required which needed to be integrated into the loan application form. Applications made through the website would need to be integrated directly into an external credit review system used by the CarLoans4U team for review, approval/denial.

We were tasked with creating a consumer facing website and brand identity for CarLoans4U. The project involved creative design approaches with art direction, concept creation, web UI design, graphic design, web development and custom programming. We custom developed a loan repayments calculator which was integrated into the loan application form. We also custom coded a connection to transfer applications made through the website directly into CarLoans4U’s credit review system.

With the success of CarLoans4U, the parent company asked Designit to redesign their other brands and bring them into alignment with the CarLoans4U brand. The other brands include FlexLease, CarLease4U and CustomFinance4U.
I have worked with Designit on different projects over the last number of years. While most people just see aesthetics when it comes to websites, I’m more interested in their functionality, usability and value for money – Designit achieve all of these for me. A testament to this is that our new websites, without any real promotion at all, climbed the Google rankings very quickly.
Even though I’ve worked with Frank before, I still tender for new projects and the approach Designit takes is far more practical than other companies, something which will keep them in good stead going forward. I’d highly recommend the Designit team.
